Who are we and what we stand for :)

This is our first journal entry, to be honest I’ve never written a journal before. So here goes nothing;

As you know by now, we are evening & co. we formed this company when the world was going through this pandemic (covid-19). We’ve always wanted to start something, but nothing seems to be right, we couldn’t agree on things, however one day we just started talking about random things and an idea struck us, we could start a T-shirt company. If you know me (Sarah), I never wanted to start any clothing company, I felt it was completely unnecessary, when the competition is too high and everything is just repetitive. The idea of our own christian T-shirt company really changed my views, God changed how I saw things and how things could be done. He planted the ideas in me and guided our every step, even choosing the name evening & co.

With choosing the name of our company, we actually dreaded it, because we both have different preferences. Choosing evening & co. came extremely easy for us, we wanted our name to be meaningful, and we chose evening because;

In regards to our T-shirt designs, every design is designed by us (Sarah & Nicole). With every design comes with a special meaning to it, we want our shirts to strike up conversations. We want to ensure that we reach out to people we’ve never met, we want to talk to you and we want people to ask about the meanings behind it all. Our intent is for people to strike up conversations between themselves or with us, and we want to put smiles on people’s faces. We want to ensure that if you’re having a bad day, or going through a tough season, there are people that are willing to listen to you and be there for you, He is there for you.

He is there with you and for you through every season.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 ESV

In the midst of the storm (for us it was pandemic), it was rough in the beginning, we weren’t used to the lock down and we were getting anxious day by day. God reassured us that things would be fine, be still and we would be able to see things clearer.

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 ESV

We struggled in the beginning, just like anyone would however we made it through. Once we were in a better headspace, we were able to see things clearer. With that being said, we would love to extend our ears if you need someone to talk to.

We, evening & co. our aim is not for profit (although we would like our business to financially support us in the future), our aim is to help people, thus we will donate RM1 from every shirt we sold into a charity of our choosing. So please do show us some support and purchase our shirts :)
